I'll have to update my VM to share forgejo-runner's workdir, and fix up UIDs and stuff.
Also, forgejo runner will need to have access to the SSH privkey.
I can mount the 9p share via mount_9p -cu /dev/vio9p0 /ci/shared. Trying to put this into fstab failed, so I guess I'll just do it via /etc/rc.local.
@idzie they're here all summer but only at higher elevations. Some of our usual spots are still inaccessible since Helene, and I've been so busy, I really haven't gotten out for a good hike all summer.
@redoak ohh I understand. Yeah it's sadly too easy to miss birds just because you can't manage to make it to the right habitat, as I well know...

@ekaitz_zarraga IIRC I'm currently using `crop`, which is backed by a tree of text snippets. However, I'm not too happy with the API, so I may transition away to something more homegrown at some point. What were you planning to do with your solution?
@jsbarretto I copied the Piece Table that Niklaus Wirth introduces in his book Project Oberon. I didn't implement formatting yet, but they do! They assign extra data to the pieces where they store how that piece should be rendered.
With the correct algorithm for splitting pieces, you can implement a text editor with visuals (like MS Word) where you can change formats manually. I wanted to do something similar for the highlighting instead. I don't know how well it will work.

Hello and welcome to this week's recipe! I love running a recipe website.
When I was young, my grandma used to take me to the local market on a Saturday.
I used to love the smell of the freshly baked bread from the baker's stall.
I can clearly remember the different loaves that were available, and how the baker would often give me a hot cross bun for free at Easter time. I think that he fancied me a bit.
Sadly, my grandma is no longer with us, but every so often, I make this recipe in memory of her and the lovely times that I had with her.
Perhaps you will make it too, and experience a deep connection with a loved one.
Pop some bread in the toaster, turn it on, and wait until it pops.

@neil "I tried your so-called "quiche" recipe, but since I'm a vegan, I replaced the eggs with apple sauce and the butter with margarine and the ham with smoked tofu, but the quiche didn't set at all. It was like a chunky soup even after though I baked it longer. I hope your grandmother is happy after she ruined my family dinner!"

@mattiem I was being sarcastic to mean that if you're outside the "compiler bubble", there are very few places you could turn to short of spending a lot of time experimenting and debugging with tools clearly not made for this.

a friend of mine went to a lovely pokemon meetup and event aaaaand GOT ONE OF HIS PLUSHIES STOLEN 😞 they tried for two and he managed to chase one person down, but what the fuck!! they were waiting to swoop in all organized!! and he wasn't the only victim at the event either!!! that sucks my dudes :(
